Coached the New York Empire for the second time in 2018. Previously played for the Idaho Sneakers in 1998.
On doubles court, reached world No. 1 and captured 17 Grand Slam trophies (14 with Natasha Zvereva). Won every major title at least twice, including six at the French Open. Owns 69 WTA titles in total.
Two-time Olympic gold medalist in 1992 and 1996 with fellow American Mary Joe Fernandez (no relation).
In singles, won two titles and peaked at No. 17 in the WTA Rankings. Reached the 1994 Wimbledon semifinals and was twice a quarterfinalist at the US Open (1991, 1994).
Inducted into the International Tennis Hall Of Fame in 2010.
