Will play her fourth season of WTT in 2018 and second straight with the New York Empire.

Previously played for Texas in 2013 and made her WTT debut in 2009 with Kansas City.

In 2017, reached the semifinals in Sydney and quarterfinals in Madrid, where she defeated world No. 2 Angelique Kerber and Maria Sharapova.

Represented Canada at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Enjoyed a breakout 2014 season on the WTA Tour, becoming the first Canadian to reach a Grand Slam singles final at Wimbledon; adding to her semifinal runs at the Australian Open and French Open.

Also in 2014, won her first WTA singles title in Nuremberg en route to being named the WTA's Most Improved Player.

Career high singles ranking: No. 5 (October 2014).

In 2013, was selected as the WTA's Newcomer of the Year.

Won three junior Grand Slams – 2012 Wimbledon girls singles, 2011 and 2012 Wimbledon girls doubles. She was the first Canadian to win a Grand Slam singles title.
